The Election of The Commissioner
Each year at this time the assembled membership of the Oakwood Wiffle & Ale Club exercise their right to choose their leader, entrusting the future of The Club to a Wiffler who has stepped up to the awesome responsibility.
This vote, and the result will be no mystery, not only establishes the next year of leadership, but it also expresses great thanks for the prior year of service.

ReplyDeleteI move that each year at the Wiffies, we formally impeach Commish five minutes before re-electing him. this ensures that we retain our core value of schizophrenic absurdity while gently reminding us all of the true meaning of Arbor Day.
