In honor of Roy Halladay’s second no hitter of the season, I decided to check the Whiffle stats to see if anyone had recorded 27 consecutive outs (over multiple appearances, of course) this season.
I’ll end the suspense; the answer is no. But of course we pitch in a “league” that bats 0.361 overall and has 3 batters over the 0.400 mark. Such a feat would be Herculean in this game.
