They may be chanting the name of Jay Bruce down in the Queen City, but here in God's country the monikers Mosser and Cebulash are becoming as synonymous with quality play as Evers and Tinker and Chance! Baker and Berwald took a shellacking this morning over at Thunderbird's Park!

Perhaps the holiday had softened them up a bit, but there was little sign of life in those boys.  Let's all wish Pete a safe trip to France and hope his time down in the Frog Leagues rejuvenates his now faltering
prospects for a respectable season.  The rookie Baker still shows promise at the plate and continues to dazzle with his Nureyev-like moves on the mound, but a solid "W" would really help to put a little snap in his stride. There's always next week, Boog.

The Medium Unit, Dave Bush, remains, as of this writing, AWOL.  Perhaps he slipped down the
rabbit hole into Brian's methane cave and, as we all know, few who go there ever re-emerge.  Hey Unit, try to maintain radio contact, wouldja?  Next week's game, currently scheduled at Smith School Park for Saturday 9:00 am, has all the makings of a classic.  Big Brent Mack should be tanned, rested and ready to play after this weeks r&r.  If Brian and Dave return from the dead it'll be 3 on 3.  Stay limber fans and see you on the fun side.

Glen
